Gold Paladin Deck - Spectral Duke Dragon
Hi guys , this is my first decklist and post I have ever put up on this blog . So this is a decklist that I have created so lets have a look ......

So now I am gonna explain what these cards is used for . For triggers , I guess I do not need to explain because thats very common for a SDD deck so I am just gonna explain the other grades . So for grade 1 , you have Vortimer , Mark , Tron , Valkryie and Sleygal . You use Vortimer for obvious reasons , Mark to guard yourself against strong and powerful attacks or fear that your opponent might drive check a critical trigger that might kill you while you have 4 damage , Tron for boosting with high power and Valkryie for counterblast 1 for a superior call when it hits the vanguard while boosting the grade 2 version of this card and Sleygal for counterblast 1 for Power increase. So now the grade 2s , you have Vortimer , Valkryie , Nemean Lion and Tripp . Saying again , you use Vortimer for obvious reasons , Valkryie for counterblast 1 for a superior call when this card is superior called , Nemean Lion for special intercept and Tripp to unflip the damage . So now the grade 3s , SDD , Garmore and Destroyer . SDD because this deck is focusing on this card ( YOU DON'T SAY ? ) , of course you will use this card as your Vanguard and use his Limit Break , Garmore is what you will use as your Vanguard if you are unlucky enough not to draw a SDD , and with Tron boosting this card , you will hit 25k Power thanks to his Limit Break and will cause your opponent to waste his cards for guarding . Destroyer as your rearguard because of his skill " +2k Power when attacking Vanguard " , this is very useful against 11k Vanguards when there are no rearguards to boost this unit .
So how should you play this deck ? This is what you should do importantly everyturn .
First Turn : You ride Grade 1 Vortimer and search for Grade 2 Vortimer or SDD . Call a card that you think that you will not need that you have in your hand . End turn or attack your opponent .
Second Turn : You ride Grade 2 Vortimer and retire your rearguard which you have called on your first turn to look at the top 2 cards of your top deck and superior call 2 cards . Call both Grade Valkryies and any card you think you will be less likely to use . Attack your opponent and End Turn .
Third Turn : You ride SDD and retire the extra card you have called which you think you are not gonna use on your previous turn and look at the top 2 cards and superior call them . Attack your opponent and End Turn .
Fourth Turn : If you have any empty rearguard circles , you can call both Grade Valkryies if you have them and I will explain why later and attack your opponent and end your turn .
When it is your opponent turn now , purposely let them attack you until you have 5 Damage BUT if you already have 4 Damage and their Vanguard attacks , it is wise to guard because he might have a chance of drive checking a critical trigger and GG . So if you let their Vanguard attack you without guarding and you still manage to survive with 5 Damage then good for you ! Theres a combo to use with this deck but you will need 5 counterblasts to carry out . First you should have your field filled with cards , but at least have both Grades Valkryies because this is where the fun will start . If your opponents have little cards to guard , and even he have 4 Damages , it can still be Final Turn because first you attack with your Extra Rearguards , normally people will guard it because they will think that you will give the power of triggers that you have drive check to your Valkryies and will not guard Valkryies attack while thinking that they will survive with a 5 Damage but they are very very very wrong because , when SDD attacks , twin drive and if there are any triggers give all the powers and critical if you have to SDD and Limit Break and retire all of the rearguards which is rested and stand SDD again , so now opponent have 4 damages and only have cards enough to guard your vanguard's attack or a few more cards , so attack his vanguard with your Valkryies and most likely he will not guard because most of the time , they might want to save enough cards to guard your Vanguard's attack perfectly and lets assume that they don't guard and take the fifth Damage , now counterblast 1 to superior the top card of your deck because of your Valkryie's skill . If you called a grade 1 or 0 , put it behind your Vanguard and called it to your side if you called a grade 2 or 3 so that it can attack your opponent Vanguard , finally use your SDD to attack your opponent Vanguard and your opponent guards and you drive check , and if you get any triggers , give all the effects to your vanguard and LIMIT BREAK AGAIN !
Retire all of your rearguards for the Limit Break cost and stand your SDD again ! Your opponent might not expect that LoL ! And then attack with your SDD again ! And plus the Power gained from the triggers ( if you are lucky ) you will get high Powers and your opponent might not have enough guard because he guarded 3 attacks ( 2 Vanguard 1 Rearguard ) and GG you won the game because he cannot guard , but if he guarded or got a heal trigger , you are screwed lol because you have no rearguards left but you have extra 4 cards due to the drive checks and some of your other cards , so 50 - 50 you will survive or you will die . And this combo should only be done if you are sure that you can win in your turn .
